FIBROBLAST: The Non-Surgical Facelift

non-surgical facelift, Camberley clinic

Why You Need To Try The Non-Surgical Facelift at Camberley’s Favourite Aesthetic Clinic

If you’re looking for a non-surgical facial treatment that tightens and lifts the skin with instant results – The Face & Body Workshop in Camberley has you covered!

Fibroblast is a revolutionary facelift procedure that requires no surgery and limited ‘down-time’. This fantastic treatment shrinks excess skin, bags and wrinkles and dramatically smoothes and tightens many areas without the need for surgery.

Fibroblast is also very popular in treating larger areas that require tightening such as the neck and the tummy area – problems that can be experienced post-pregnancy or following extreme weight loss. To book your appointment call our Camberley aesthetic clinic today on 01276 675522.

Fibroblast will significantly reduce:

  • Hooded eyelids
  • Under eye bags
  • Crows feet
  • Smokers lines
  • Neck area
  • Tummy

How Does It Work?

The Fibroblast hand-piece produces a tiny plasma flash which leaps from tip to the skin in a micro-millimetre sized point. This superficial point minimises the skin in its immediate vicinity – which reduces the excess skin, tightening the lid / under eye area. A series of tiny brown spots are strategically placed to attain the desired result for the excess skin. The skin around the spot tightens pulling the cells closer together. It’s the only treatment to successfully reduce the excess skin.

The Results

Eyelids feel lighter, with the heavy lid massively reduced. The eyelids are also smoother, without excess folds of skin. The application of make-up is easier and has increased longevity!

FIBROBLAST Aftercare

Immediately after treatment, there may be a burning sensation. This will usually resolve during the remainder of the day although if it is particularly uncomfortable or persists for a longer period, then an anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen can be taken.

Following treatment, it is normal to have some swelling. This can be significant around the eyes and can last for several days and may lead to interference with vision in the initial period. Cold compresses may be applied to reduce the swelling. If the swelling is more severe, an anti-inflammatory medication and/or anti-histamine may help alleviate the swelling.

Crusting will usually develop over the treated area, this will often initially be brown or black on the surface of the skin and flake off over the following days. It may take over 2 weeks to completely disappear. It is essential to not pick at this crusting as this may lead to infection or scarring.

Occasionally the treated area may become a little weepy, this is part of the normal healing process and will improve with time. However, if it starts to become hot or red or if there is any pus present, then please contact our aesthetics clinic in Camberley for advice as this may suggest an infection has developed.

It is essential to keep the treatment area clean, dry and protected with a broad spectrum sunscreen. Do not use alcohol based cleansers.

FAQ’s:

Is Fibroblast painful? None of our clients consider the treatment to be painful, as an anaesthetic is applied before treatment. Watch the video below to see more clearly what the process entails.

Are there any side effects? Immediately after treatment the area may be red. 1-2 days after the treatment, swelling may occur. After 5-7 days, the sloughing of the wound healing process has usually disappeared. Any slight redness following the treatment is usually no longer visible after 3 weeks.

How long does each treatment session take? The session requires approximately 60 minutes where you will relax and allow time for the anaesthetic cream to take effect and then the actual treatment lasts around 30 minutes but could be longer if more than one area is treated during your session. Generally speaking, you will experience instant results.

Is the treatment permanent? Yes. Once the skin fibres are shortened, the effects are permanent. You may notice at times during the healing process that the treated area will appear much lifted and on another occasion that it appears less lifted. This is normal and the lift will ultimately settle and hold at its optimum point.
